Soldiers mill about, some leaning against the bar having a solitary drink, some gathered in conversation around a few tall tables, and some crowding around the arch to the game room, people-watching. A large mirror over the back of the bar has been painstakingly cut into the shape of a raven, with shallower cuts picking out the detail of feathers, beak, and glittering eyes.
